Wilson's Almanac Scriptorium home

Welcome, guest. I intend to place this introductory matter beneath the animated masthead above, on each page of the Almanac, because many readers arrive for their first time and don't know their way around.
I'm aware that it might be a nuisance to some, but feel free to use, or ignore, any links, and scroll down to other matters if you wish. Thank you, and bright blessings to you. Pip

Table: Gifts to Wilson's Almanac via PayPal, in US dollars, since the Almanac commenced Jan. 1 '01 (updated monthly).

*The relatively high figure for December 2002 came in when the premium Almanac (no longer published) was launched.

Please note that banks here charge a $20 fee for non-Australian cheques so often it's not worth it. International Reply Coupons from post offices anywhere in the world are useful as I can use them for postage from Australia. Thank you.

Please note that as of June 14, 2011, I have been unable to log into my Paypal account, but it is a long time since I have had more than one or two 'Notification of monies received' emails. I doubt there's anything there, and will try to sort out with Paypal my password, of which I have a record, and have always used before.  Since "at last two carloads of people" apparently tried to murder me (police have been refusing to return my calls, as promised), money has got incredibly tight, and a buck or two my way would be welcomed, and acknowledged on this site, as on http://www.wilsonsalmanac.com/support.html. Thank you, Pip.

Dear esteemed reader,

Maybe I'm nutzo, but this is my livelihood.

Potted history of our first five years

I hope you are enjoying this website and your daily Wilson's Almanac ezine (which comes to you by voluntary paid subscription). The ezine's motto is "If need be, read free", and that's how I like to work for my readers. The poor are invited to read for free, but I like to believe that those who can pay even a little will do so. I sincerely invite readers to help just a little with the pressing Internet bills and all aspects of the Almanac. I will gratefully and publicly acknowledge you at the Wall of Divine Almaniacs. Every $20+ donor gets a brick in the wall.

Also, your contribution supports the many hours of daily research, production and administration required. As you know, the whole Almanac project has 400+ pages of info (approximately 6,299,000 words altogether), and the daily ezine brings to your mailbox a lot to enjoy over morning coffee. Is it any good? Maybe worth the cost of a cup of coffee every now and again? Even a coupla bucks is much appreciated!

I'll gratefully accept your payment, for your subscription to the ezine or your enjoyment of this Scriptorium, the Book of Days, the Blogmanac and other features (see menu at top of this page). I hope you will support this work, by clicking Puppy below. Safe and secure, PayPal is a respected mode of payment with tens of millions of members – and please note that I will never know your credit card number or divulge your details. Thank you, from the bottom of my fridge.

Just one more thing, briefly. When you spend one dollar on any book or product (Amazon.com) in these pages, or at our Cafe Diem! store, the Almanac gets five cents. And every time you click one of those pesky Google Ads I get a fraction of a cent or even more! Amazon and Google ads bring me about $2.50 on a good day. It all helps keep the Almanac online, thank you.

Abundance and gratitude,

Pip Wilson

PS: Books I have written are for sale at henrylawson.info and imaginician.com, and sales help keep the Almanac project afloat. And I do part-time work when I can get it, including editing, gardening, cleaning, handyman, you name it.

This letter from a member, and the wonderful hat she made for
your almanackist, made my day ... no ...  it made my week!

Hello Pip,
May this hat bring you joy and outrageous freedom. Like the Pied Piper, you are a path finder, jester and magus.
Just to know your magic and wisdom is making a difference in the world. No matter if people respond or not.
I am a performer, did my original art expression in New York for 18 years. There were times I just thought I must be crazy because people sat so still and inwardly observing while I was performing and delivering the Message. Everybody told me how much they love my work, but few people really gave the financial support.
To know is the key. Be well and free,
Star Light,
WA, USA

Here's me & the hat, Star Light, and I really love it!!
Many thanks for my very own wizard hat.
