Wilson's Almanac Scriptorium home

Welcome, guest. I intend to place this introductory matter beneath the animated masthead above, on each page of the Almanac, because many readers arrive for their first time and don't know their way around.
I'm aware that it might be a nuisance to some, but feel free to use, or ignore, any links, and scroll down to other matters if you wish. Thank you, and bright blessings to you. Pip

First, an apology. Someone caused a virus to attack the screensavers while I was in hospital for months. I regret that neither you nor I can use them. I'll keep this page online as a memorial for quite some time (date now, May 25, 2011). Rest assured that the virus has not spread at all on my computer nor any reader's. Carpe diem!

Thanks for the screensaver, Pip, it's gorgeous. I often sit watching it, just musing and winding down.
Nora

Even after months, I still find the effect of watching them hypnotic and relaxing

Easy to install (just click 'Run' when it prompts you) and easy to uninstall. Places a (removable) icon on your desktop so you can also view it on demand without waiting, if you so desire. Copyright free; you may distribute for non-commercial purposes as you wish. No viruses, no spyware or adware, no ads. A genuine free service. They don't slow my computer down at all, but please read the necessary disclaimer below. Come back again sometime as there will be more, such as 'Cool People', 'Cosmic Beauty' and ... well, you suggest a theme and we'll see what can be done (no promises). Future seasonal screensavers will feature other faiths and cultures.  :)

Save to different folders on your computer if you want more than one.

(Actual screensavers run at a more leisurely pace than these sample animations. All images are from the Almanac.)
