Wilson's Almanac Scriptorium home

Welcome, guest. I intend to place this introductory matter beneath the animated masthead above, on each page of the Almanac, because many readers arrive for their first time and don't know their way around.
I'm aware that it might be a nuisance to some, but feel free to use, or ignore, any links, and scroll down to other matters if you wish. Thank you, and bright blessings to you. Pip

I was part of these 21st anniversary celebrations in May, 1994 at my former home,
Boggy Creek, when my dear friend, artist and poet Marcus Cremonese, took this memorable photo.
That's me in the crowd.

Thora Hall. Old photo. Still makes my heart sing.

My good friend at the time. Gravy (Graham Davy) took this shot of me and my two oldest kids, Julia and James, at Manly Beach, in  about 1980.

I wrote on the Blogmanac:

Om shanti. My mate Chris Green died last night. Chris produced more than 300 Wilson's Almanac Book of Days programs for radio, at no charge, and, despite the hard work, we had a lot of fun and camaraderie in the studio doing them. Very quickly we became like old friends and our friendship continued to grow and deepen. Thank you, mate.

Chris was a barrister, a brilliant and versatile musician, a 'people person' who attracted loyalty, admiration and affection from untold numbers of people -- and he had one of the sharpest intellects I have ever known. One of Nature's gentlemen, Chris will be sorely missed by his beautiful wife, Jenny, and so many people who are grieving today. Om shanti shanti shanti.

There will be no Almanac activity for a mourning period.
